This powerful reminder calls us to examine where our hearts truly belong. We cannot hold on to habitual sin while expecting to experience the fullness of life in Christ. Every temptation presents a choice: to seek passing pleasure or eternal joy. Freedom from pornography and impurity begins when we stop trying to keep one foot in the world and one foot in the Kingdom of God. Through Confession, the Eucharist, prayer, and the daily practice of virtue, Christ gives us the grace to leave behind the false promises of sin and discover the lasting joy that only He can give.
